Buying at auction
The auction is Thursday.
You need a repair number by Wednesday.
Send us the building report you already paid for. We cost every finding at real Canterbury trade rates and get it back to you, normally within 24 hours, so you bid on a figure instead of a feeling.
Back within 24 hours
Most are faster. Tell us your deadline before you order and we will say honestly whether we can make it.
A number you can defend
Every line cites the page of your own report. If you are setting a walk-away price, you can show your working.
A call before you bid
A licensed building inspector talks you through what is urgent and what is noise. Included, not extra.
What it looks like
A real schedule, for a real Canterbury bungalow
Fourteen findings, costed and grouped by urgency. The property is fictional; the method is exactly what you receive.
Pricing
$179, or $225 for four bedrooms and up
We check it before we start. If too much is unreadable, or it isn't something we can price responsibly, we say so and refund you in full.
Straight answers
Before you ask
Can you make my deadline?
Tell us the date before you pay. If we cannot make it we will say so and you will not be charged. We would rather lose the job than leave you bidding on a guess.
What if I don't win the auction?
You keep the schedule, and the rate card stays useful for the next house you look at. Nothing about it is locked to one bid.
Is this a quote I can hold a builder to?
No, and nobody can give you one from a report alone. It is a costed range to decide and bid on. Before committing to work, get written quotes from licensed tradespeople.
